We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Officer (ASO2) for an upcoming temporary assignment with a South Australian Government organisation based in the Adelaide CBD.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional reception and telephone customer service.
- Respond to and triage enquiries, escalating matters where appropriate.
- Monitor shared inboxes and process incoming correspondence.
- Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy records.
- Perform data entry and records management activities.
- Assist with file creation, archiving, and documentation management.
- Support invoice processing, office supplies management, and general office administration.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assist with meeting coordination, events, and administrative projects.
- Provide confidential support while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
- Experience in customer service, reception, or administrative support roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
- A professional and adaptable approach to work.
- Experience handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Previous experience in a government or public sector environment.
- Experience using records management or business systems.
- Experience supporting vulnerable clients or diverse community groups.
- Exposure to finance, procurement, or HR administration functions.
