Trainer - Election Operations

Port Melbourne | Temporary Contract | ASAP Start | To December 2026

We're seeking experienced Trainers and Facilitators to support the delivery of a high-profile operational training program for a major public sector organisation.
If you enjoy engaging with people, delivering structured training, and helping teams perform at their best, we'd love to hear from you.

Your New Role

This is a delivery-focused role. All training content and materials have already been developed, allowing you to focus on facilitation, learner engagement, and knowledge transfer.
You'll deliver training across:

• Leadership and operational roles
• Train-the-Trainer programs
• Supervisor and coordinator training
• Workforce capability initiatives

Training is delivered both face-to-face and virtually, with group sizes typically up to 20 participants.

You'll bring:

• Experience delivering training, learning or facilitation programs, including use of Learning Management Systems. 
• LMS environment experience 
• Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Confidence delivering new and complex content
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to engage experienced participants and subject matter experts
• A proactive, adaptable and organised approach

Highly Regarded

• Electoral sector experience
• Government or public sector experience
• Operational, compliance or procedural training experience
• Virtual and classroom facilitation experience
