About the Role Working within a dedicated payroll team, you will play an important role in supporting payroll operations for a large workforce. The team is responsible for payroll data entry, employee record maintenance, payroll processing, and responding to payroll enquiries.

About the Role Working within a dedicated payroll team, you will play an important role in supporting payroll operations for a large workforce. The team is responsible for payroll data entry, employee record maintenance, payroll processing, and responding to payroll enquiries.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing payroll transactions and pay-related activities
- Maintaining and updating employee payroll records
- Processing new starters, employee changes, transfers and terminations
- Reviewing and coding timesheets
- Processing leave applications and payroll adjustments
- Investigating and resolving payroll queries
- Reviewing payroll reports and ensuring data integrity
- Collaborating with team members to achieve daily targets and deadlines
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy in a high-volume environment
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous payroll experience (desirable)
- Experience using Chris21 or a similar payroll system (desirable)
- Strong customer service experience, ideally within a call centre or high-volume environment
- Accurate data entry skills (minimum 40 words per minute)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines
- Reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
