About the Role
Reporting to the National Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing across multiple subsidiary entities. The workforce is primarily award-based (nursing/shift-based employees), requiring strong attention to detail and confidence interpreting EBAs and payroll legislation.
You will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain employee records, manage leave entitlements, and support payroll reporting and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll (approx. 300 employees)
- Review and reconcile timesheets from time & attendance systems
- Ensure accurate application of awards, penalties, overtime, and allowances
- Maintain employee master data and payroll records
- Process new starters, terminations, and employee changes
- Respond to payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and end-of-month/year processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies
About You
- Previous experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, PAYG, and superannuation
- Experience working with awards and/or enterprise agreements
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Chris21/iChris or UKG/Kronos highly regarded
Location & Working Arrangements
This role is based full-time in our Sydney CBD office (Level 12, 44 Market Street). At this stage, the position is fully office-based. While there may be potential for flexible working arrangements in the future, this is not guaranteed.

- Flexibility to work outside standard hours during peak payroll periods if required
