FP&A Officer

Our client is a well-established and globally connected organisation seeking an FP&A Officer to join its Finance & Business Planning team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with experience in financial analysis, management accounting, or FP&A who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Working closely with the FP&A Manager and wider finance team, you will assist with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis activities that support business performance and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual budgets
- Support forecasting and financial planning processes
- Perform monthly variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
- Prepare regular financial reports and management reporting packs
- Assist with monthly CAPEX reporting and reconciliations
- Support departmental budget tracking and cost analysis
- Maintain financial data within reporting systems and ensure data accuracy
- Assist with financial modelling and ad hoc analysis as required
- Support compliance with internal controls, policies, and reporting requirements
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance function
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
- CA or CPA qualification (completed or currently undertaking)
- 5 years of experience in finance, FP&A, management accounting, or financial analysis
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting principles
- Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
