Senior Finance Business Analyst

Our client is a well-established, globally connected organisation seeking a Senior Commercial Business Analyst to join its Finance & Business Planning team. You will work closely with key stakeholders to translate financial information into meaningful insights that influence business outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual budgets and load financial data into global reporting systems.
• Lead monthly analysis of departmental Profit & Loss performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Partner with departmental managers to provide financial insights, analysis, and commercial recommendations.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly Capital Expenditure reporting.
• Assist Sales Planning teams with financial modelling and economic insights.
• Support department managers in developing and managing SG&A budgets.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial data and reporting.
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, process improvements, and ad hoc projects.
• Provide support on technical accounting and financial policy matters as required.

Skills & Experience Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
• CA or CPA qualification (completed or in progress preferred).
• Strong experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and/or management accounting.
• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting frameworks.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capability.
• High attention to detail and strong numerical reasoning ability.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to clearly present financial insights and recommendations.
• Strong organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities and support across multiple areas as required.
