Our client is a well-established international organisation seeking a Japanese Speaking Admin & Finance Officer to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a bilingual professional who enjoys a combination of administration, customer support, and finance-related duties. You will play a key role in supporting daily office operations while assisting with finance and accounting administration.
The successful candidate will work closely with both local and overseas stakeholders, making Japanese language skills essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Administration
- Provide general administrative support to the office and management team
- Manage correspondence, documentation, and filing systems
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders in both Japanese and English
- Prepare reports and business documents
- Support office operations and ensure smooth day-to-day administration
Finance & Accounting Support
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare invoices and assist with payment processing
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records
- Assist with month-end reporting and financial administration
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support budgeting and expense tracking activities
- Liaise with external accountants and finance stakeholders when required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Business-level Japanese and English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Previous experience in administration, office support, finance, accounting, or a similar role
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems will be highly regarded
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
