Our client is a well-established, globally connected organisation seeking a Senior Commercial Business Analyst to join its Finance & Business Planning team. You will work closely with key stakeholders to translate financial information into meaningful insights that influence business outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and annual budgets and load financial data into global reporting systems.
- Lead monthly analysis of departmental Profit & Loss performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Partner with departmental managers to provide financial insights, analysis, and commercial recommendations.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly Capital Expenditure reporting.
- Assist Sales Planning teams with financial modelling and economic insights.
- Support department managers in developing and managing SG&A budgets.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial data and reporting.
- Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, process improvements, and ad hoc projects.
- Provide support on technical accounting and financial policy matters as required.
Skills & Experience Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
- CA or CPA qualification (completed or in progress preferred).
- Strong experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and/or management accounting.
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting frameworks.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capability.
- High attention to detail and strong numerical reasoning ability.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to clearly present financial insights and recommendations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities and support across multiple areas as required.
