About the Role
As the Accounts Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day finance operations while building your skills across a variety of accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and daily cash flow activities.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting and financial planning.
- Support month-end and year-end reporting and financial reconciliations.
- Process payroll accurately and on time.
- Assist with trade finance activities.
- Liaise with banks, auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate financial records and provide general finance administration support.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- An accounting qualification or be currently studying towards one (highly regarded).
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Officer or similar finance support role.
- Intermediate MYOB skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- A genuine desire to learn, grow and build a long-term career in finance.
