Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Workforce Data Specialist to support our client's contingent labor and employee data management initiatives. This role sits within the HR/People Operations function, combining workforce analytics, compliance, and data governance to ensure a smooth and compliant HR operation.
Language Preference: Chinese or Japanese speakers are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Contingent Labor Management
- Maintain accurate records of all contingent (non-employee) labor globally.
- Partner with internal HR teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with company policies and global labor regulations.
- Support proper categorization of non-employee workers and educate stakeholders on governance requirements.
- Monitor labor data trends and provide HR insights to support workforce planning and decision-making.
- Prepare reports and presentations for HR leadership using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Assist in audits and ensure documentation meets global HR compliance standards.
Employee Data & HR Governance Support
- Maintain integrity of employee data, organizational structures, leave and absence records, and workforce transactions.
- Support HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and data updates in Workday HCM.
- Respond to ad hoc HR data inquiries, ensuring updates align with governance and compliance standards.
- Maintain process documentation and assist in improving HR data workflows and controls.
Qualifications
- Experience in HR data management, workforce analytics, or contingent labor governance, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Understanding of HR compliance requirements and non-employee labor categories.
- Experience with Workday HCM (organizational structures, worker data updates, EIB, reporting).
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Chinese or Japanese language skill is highly regarded
