Japanese Speaking Inside Sales Support

Our client, located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, is seeking a Japanese-speaking Inside Sales Support Officer to assist customers across the APAC region, including Japan. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in B2B customer service, order management, and sales support/administration within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer enquiries, quotations, and orders using the internal order entry system
Provide basic product information and recommendations as required
Coordinate with sales and internal teams to support customer needs
Maintain and update accurate customer information in the system
Assist with outbound communications to support the sales process
Perform additional administrative tasks to support the customer service team
About You
Native Japanese speaker with fluent English (written and spoken)
Positive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work effectively within a team
Service-focused, proactive, and willing to take initiative
Full working rights in Australia (PR, Citizen, Partner Visa)
Work Hours
9:00am-5:00pm Japan Standard Time, following the Japanese calendar/public holidays.
Training & Experience
Full hands-on training will be provided. No technical background is required; however, prior experience in B2B customer service or inside sales support is essential.
Workplace Arrangement
During the initial 6-12 months, you will be expected to work primarily onsite to build strong relationships with the team and customers. Once established, a hybrid arrangement (2-3 WFH days per week) will be offered.
