Japanese Speaking In-house Translator

                        We are seeking a highly motivated Japanese Speaking In-house Translator to join our client, an energetic and forward-thinking electronical automation and service-focused organisation in Mulgrave. With over 30 years of experience, the company has delivered electronics engineering solutions across the region, contributing to the growth and success of industries in Australia and New Zealand.
In this role, you will play a key part in a company that makes a real impact on both industry and communities. You will bridge communication between the Australian and Japanese offices, translating technical documentation, reports, manuals, and correspondence, and supporting business level communication across varfious teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate a wide range of business and technical documents, including reports, correspondence etc 
- Provide interpretation support during internal meetings and conference calls between Japan and Australia if required 
- Work closely with internal departments to maintain consistent communication standards and terminology 
- Translate and assist with implementing new product/service technical procedures in line with company guidelines 
- Support smooth communication between Japanese and English-speaking stakeholders 
- Handle coordination, and other administrative translation-related tasks 
- Manage ad-hoc duties as required. 
Requirements
- Native-level Japanese and fluent English proficiency (both written and spoken) 
- Experience in translation or interpretation, ideally within a corporate or technical environment - Professional translation license/qualification is not required but advantage if held 
- Knowledge or background in electronics / engineering is highly regarded but not neccesary 
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and strong communication skills 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
- Professional, team-oriented, and culturally sensitive approach 
- Own a vehicle for commuting, as public transport options are limited
