Location: Heatherbrae Depot, NSW
$43.91 per hour + Super
6-Month Assignment | Immediate Start Available
9-Day Fortnight | Every Second Monday Off

HOBAN are currently recruiting experienced Labourers for an opportunity with Transport for NSW based out of the Heatherbrae Depot. These roles suit candidates with strong civil, road maintenance, or general labouring experience who are comfortable working in outdoor environments.

About the Role

You will be working as part of a road maintenance crew supporting a variety of civil and infrastructure works. The role requires a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and the ability to carry out physical outdoor work.

Key Responsibilities

• General road and civil labouring duties
• Use of handheld tools and light equipment
• Traffic control and site safety support
• Operating zero turn mowers and related machinery
• Supporting maintenance and construction crews
• Adhering to WHS procedures at all times

Requirements

Essential:

• Current White Card
• Class C Driver Licence
• Traffic Control Tickets
• Experience using handheld tools
• Experience operating zero turn mowers
• General road or civil construction experience

Desirable:

• MR Licence
• Experience working in road maintenance gangs

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 6:30am - 3:30pm
• 40-hour week
• 9-day fortnight roster
• Every second Monday off (RDO)

• 2 reference checks
• Police check (at offer stage)
• Right to work in Australia
• Code of Conduct acknowledgement
• Proof of ID required for TfNSW compliance
