Construction & Maintenance Worker - Immediate Start | Osborne Park
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction & Maintenance Worker to join their team for an immediate start. Based in Osborne Park, this role involves working across various sites throughout the Perth metro area.
This is a full-time casual position offering 40 hours per week (38 standard + 2 overtime), with consistent weekday hours and a supportive team environment. Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
About the Role
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Location: Osborne Park (with travel across metro sites)
- Pay Rate: $38-45 per hour (based on experience) + Super
- Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in a variety of civil and maintenance works, including:
- Paving works - lift & relay and new installations
- Minor concrete works - footings and small patch repairs
- Brick and block work
- Minor asphalt works
- General civil maintenance duties
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in bricklaying, slab laying, and relaying
- Experience operating tools such as:
- Brick saws
- Compactors
- Quick cut saws
- Experience in concreting within streetscape or civil environments
- Strong understanding of Work Health & Safety practices
- Good time management and reliability
- Ability to interact professionally with the public (customer service focus)
Licences & Tickets
Essential:
- White Card
- MR or HR Driver's Licence
- Police check or able to get within 3 months
Desirable: Forklift Licence and/or Loader Ticket
