Project Lead - Field Service & Equipment

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Lead - Field Service & Equipment Projects to manage the end-to-end delivery of site works and technical equipment project lifecycles for our client in the Melbourne's north suburb.
You will coordinate all field service operations, including site projects, site staff, tender submissions, quotation preparation and coordination, project costing, and the identification of new business opportunities.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical project management, customer engagement, and field service coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple site and equipment installation projects end-to-end
- Oversee site teams, subcontractors, scheduling, and on-site delivery
- Work with sales and engineering teams to define project scope and prepare technical proposals and quotations
- Act as the main customer contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure successful delivery
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Use computer and project systems to manage documentation and reporting
- Identify risks, issues, and process improvements across projects

You have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes.
You are comfortable working across engineering, operations, and customer teams, and enjoy taking ownership of end-to-end project delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience working within technical, engineering, or customer-focused project environments
- 5+ years' experience in project and/or program management
- Experience in logistics, automation, material handling, or industrial equipment projects will be highly regarded
- Technical qualification in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on industry experience
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience using ERP/project management systems

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Problem-solving and risk management capability
- Understanding of technical documentation and project proposals
- Willingness to travel as required
