APS 3 Corporate Support Officer

HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced and proactive APS3 Corporate Support Officer to join a busy government agency located in the Sydney CBD. This role provides critical administrative, facilities and corporate support to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations across the national office network.
You'll be part of a supportive Corporate Services team, working onsite five days per week and contributing to a professional, efficient and service‑focused environment.
About the Role
In this position, you will deliver a broad range of corporate and administrative services, including:
- Coordinating official travel bookings in line with agency processes.
- Managing local accommodation, security and facility maintenance issues.
- Providing administrative support such as:
- Acting as the local contact for archiving and electronic records management.
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies.
- Maintaining visitor and pass registers.
- Updating site contact lists and seating plans.
- Managing Cab Charge administration and reconciliation.
- Overseeing incoming and outgoing mail services.
- Supporting meeting room bookings, equipment setup, site events and catering.
- Providing financial contract management (delivery receipting) and quarterly operational statistics.
- Delivering remote corporate support to other national sites as required.
- Supporting WHS obligations, reporting and committee requirements.
- Assisting with stocktake, asset maintenance and records management.
- Providing occasional support to security staff with site‑specific tasks.
- Ensuring compliance with APS Values, WHS requirements, and risk management frameworks.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in administrative or corporate support roles (government experience desirable).
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- High digital literacy and confidence using a range of systems and technologies.
- Ability to work proactively, manage ambiguity and solve problems collaboratively.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to follow‑through.
- Ability to build rapport across teams and maintain a professional corporate presence.
- You must be an AUSTRALIAN Citizen and hold a current Baseline Security Clearance.
