We are seeking an ASO6 Level Policy / Project Coordinator / Program Officer to support a busy and highly collaborative team within the education and early childhood sector.

About the Role
In this temporary 6‑month position, you will provide critical project, policy, and administrative support across a range of initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project deliverables, support procurement activities, and prepare high‑quality documentation and reports.
You'll be part of a small, supportive team that values collaboration, respect, and shared responsibility-making this a great role for someone who enjoys contributing to a positive and professional work culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, task tracking, and monitoring timelines
- Support procurement activities, including document management and contract coordination
- Prepare high‑quality presentations, reports, and briefing materials
- Maintain accurate, organised, and up-to-date project documentation
- Provide responsive support across evolving priorities and deliverables
- Work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Skills & Experience We're Looking For
- Strong project coordination and planning experience
- Prior experience in policy, project, or program support roles (Government experience highly regarded)
- Understanding of procurement processes and contract management
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
- High-level written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines
- Confidence working with stakeholders at various levels
- A reliable, proactive, and team‑oriented approach
Clearance
- Must have a National Police Check issued within 2 years
- Working within Children check issued within 5 years
