The Rural Fire Service (RFS) is seeking two Temporary Project Officers with a practical background in design, drafting, or engineering, ideally with industry experience in trucks, vehicles, or vessels. This role provides an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a project management environment supporting essential community services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with design and drafting projects, using CAD software to support engineering initiatives
- Provide project management support, including planning, tracking, and reporting on project milestones
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality project outcomes
- Maintain project documentation and contribute to problem-solving and process improvement
Skills & Experience:
- Experience with CAD software and drafting/design tools
- Background in engineering, design, or relevant industry (trucks, vehicles, vessels)
- Basic project management and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work in a team environment
