Pay Rate: $58.59 - $87.41 per hour (plus superannuation)

About the Role

Inner West Council is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver parks and open space capital works projects across parks, sportsfields, reserves and foreshore areas. Reporting to the Coordinator Parks Projects within Capital Works, you will manage projects end-to-end, ensuring quality, budget, safety and community outcomes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage parks capital works projects from investigation and scoping through to delivery and handover
• Prepare cost estimates, designs/specifications and approval documentation
• Manage procurement, tenders, contracts and budgets in line with Council policies
• Supervise contractors and consultants on site
• Lead stakeholder and community engagement
• Prepare reports, maintain records and ensure WHS, governance and probity compliance

Essential Criteria

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent capital works delivery experience
• Demonstrated experience working in Local Government (mandatory)
• Proven project, contract, procurement and budget management skills
• Experience delivering capital works to relevant standards and legislation
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and reporting skills
• Proficiency in project software, MS Office and CAD
• Current Class C Driver's Licence
• Experience delivering open space, recreation or landscape capital works
