Classification / Pay Point: Team Leader Grade 1 - Non-Trades, PP9 ($48.96/hour)
Employment Type: Contract (ASAP - up to 6 months, with potential for extension)
Work Hours: 6:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (9-day fortnight)

The Role:
We are seeking a motivated Team Leader Grade 1 to supervise and lead a team carrying out routine pavement and road maintenance activities. You will facilitate team processes to meet work plans and project specifications, including:
- Maintenance of established pavements and construction of new or enhanced pavements
- Installation and maintenance of roadside fixtures and signage
- Maintenance of drains and drainage structures
- Application of road marking and bituminous sealing materials
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide guidance to team members in a non-trades environment.
- Resolve routine problems, escalate complex issues, and ensure work goals are achieved safely.
- Implement and monitor WHS and environmental procedures.
- Promote and oversee quality systems to ensure work is completed to required standards.
- Facilitate team development, provide on-the-job training, and support a positive team environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Current Construction Industry White Card
- Current Australian Class C Driver Licence (minimum P1)
- Broad experience in road maintenance and construction
- Knowledge or experience in supervision of small teams
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in pavement-related works (asphalt, resealing)
- Understanding of quality systems in road construction
