Seeking experienced Civil Labourers to join our Civil Maintenance Team based at the St Peters Depot. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience in concrete and/or asphalting to contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects that directly benefit the local community.
As a Team Member in Civil Works, you will be responsible for undertaking civil construction and maintenance activities in a safe, effective, and professional manner. Your work will support the long-term productivity and efficiency of the Civil Maintenance Section and align with individual and team work plans.
Location: St Peters Depot, NSW 2044i
Duration: November 2025 - 1 July 2026
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:45 PM
Hours: 35 hours per week
Pay Rate: $36-$38 per hour
Dress Code: Safety boots, Hi-Vis jacket, Wet weather gear
Key Responsibilities:
Perform infrastructure works including concrete, asphalt, drainage, signage, and street furniture
Read and apply work plans and engineering drawings
Measure and calculate quantities and set out works
Operate vehicles and machinery safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate records, complete daily work orders and timesheets
Implement Safe Work Procedures and environmental protection measures
Essential Criteria:
Demonstrated experience in concrete and/or asphalting
MR Driver's Licence
Safework General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and set out works
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility in work assignments and strong customer focus
Computer literacy and ability to use corporate systems

Desirable Criteria:
Current Senior First Aid Certificate
Traffic Control Licence
Plant Operator Accreditation
Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent
