About the Role:
The AO3 Communication Officer will provide administrative and communications support to the Customer and Stakeholder Management (CSM) team, assisting with planning, pre-construction, and construction projects. The successful candidate will develop communication materials, maintain project webpages, support low-risk stakeholder engagement, and ensure efficient management of correspondence and project records.
This role will suit a professional with demonstrated experience in communications, administration, or stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and the capability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across regional communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide stakeholder engagement support for low-risk projects.
- Develop and maintain project webpages and The Hive webpages, including analytics and updates.
- Prepare communication materials such as correspondence, flyers, and social media posts.
- Respond to low-level stakeholder enquiries and manage the correspondence tracker.
- Maintain accurate stakeholder contact information, including lot numbers, in spreadsheets and consultation management systems.
- Assist with or attend stakeholder meetings alongside Program Engagement Offices.
- Uphold public sector values by providing reliable, accurate, and professional support.
- Other duties as required.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Previous experience in communications, administration, or stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Current Class C driver's licence.
- Criminal history screening clearance.
- Full Australian working rights.
Highly Regarded:
- Experience working in government or public sector communications.
- Knowledge of stakeholder engagement processes.
- Experience with database systems, record-keeping systems, or content management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders across regional locations.
