This opportunity is suitable for process workers, picking and packing staff, general labourers and administrators comfortable with physical work.
Role Details:
- Job Title: Process Worker
- Type: Casual labour hire assignment, Monday - Friday work, 7am - 3pm.
- Location: Stafford, Brisbane.
- Rate: $31.19 p/h + Superannuation
About the Role
The Process Worker operates within a busy warehouse environment to support packing, tracking, and handling of materials. The role involves repetitive manual handling, scanning, sorting, and boxing items while maintaining accurate tracking and basic data entry.
This position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods. The Process Worker collaborates with team members to ensure workflow efficiency and safe warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack, sort, and box materials in accordance with warehouse procedures
- Scan and track items using internal systems
- Perform basic data entry with accuracy
- Handle repetitive lifting of items up to 15kg
- Maintain safe work practices in a warehouse environment
- Work efficiently within compact shelving areas
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily output targets
- Maintain organisation and cleanliness of work areas
- Undertake other duties as required
Mandatory Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of safe, repetitive lifting up to 15kg
- Comfortable working on feet for the duration of shifts
- Ability to work in warehouse conditions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to undertake a National Police Check
- Full working rights in Australia (available for full time hours)
Highly Regarded
- Previous warehouse or process work experience
- Experience with scanning or inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in fast paced team environments
- Basic computer or data entry skills
