About the Role
As a Technical Advisor, you will provide specialist clinical and technical advice on complex cases, helping support consistent and high-quality decision-making across a large Federal Government environment.

About the Role
As a Technical Advisor, you will provide specialist clinical and technical advice on complex cases, helping support consistent and high-quality decision-making across a large Federal Government environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert clinical and technical advice on complex participant matters.
- Reviewing evidence and recommending appropriate supports.
- Supporting staff through coaching, mentoring, and subject matter expertise.
- Liaising with stakeholders to achieve participant-focused outcomes.
- Managing sensitive conversations and complex case discussions.
- Preparing high-quality written advice, reports, and records.
Required qualifications in any of the below. These are acknowledged as covering degree, advanced or other diploma qualifications in the following areas:
- Occupational Therapy
- Prosthetics and Orthotics
- Speech Pathology
- Physiotherapy
- Psychology
- Registered Nursing (must be eligible for AHPRA registration),
- Social Work
- Mental Health Practitioners
- Specialists Behavioural Support Practitioners
- Medico Legal Allied Health
- Audiologist
- Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and complex information.
- A collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working within disability, aged care, health, rehabilitation, or community settings.
- Australian Citizenship is required.
- Candidates must hold relevant tertiary qualifications. Please attach these qualifications within your CV
