This position offers a stable Monday to Friday roster with no weekend work and the potential for contract extensions.

What's on Offer?
- $36.29 per hour plus 12% superannuation
- 35 hours per week
- Monday to Friday roster between 7:30am and 5:30pm
- Assignment from 14 September to 18 December 2026

As a Parking Officer, you will play an important role in maintaining community safety, parking compliance, and local amenity standards. You will conduct parking patrols, issue penalty notices where required, respond to customer enquiries, and assist with the preparation of evidence and court documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas and enforce parking regulations
- Issue penalty notices and warnings in accordance with legislation and procedures
- Monitor school zones and high-traffic areas
- Investigate and report parking and amenity issues
- Prepare briefs of evidence, statements and court documentation
- Attend court proceedings when required
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Respond professionally to customer enquiries and complaints
- Promote community awareness and compliance with parking regulations
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in parking enforcement, compliance, local government or a similar regulatory role
- Knowledge of Local Government legislation, regulations and policies
- Understanding of the Road Transport Act 2013, Road Rules and related legislation
- Experience preparing SEINS documentation, briefs of evidence and court proceedings material
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deal effectively and professionally with members of the public
- Proven ability to work as part of a team
- Flexible, reliable and responsible approach to work
- Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making skills
- Successful completion of training in dealing with aggressive or challenging individuals
- Current NSW Driver Licence
- Strong computer literacy and administration skills
- Customer service focused
- Resilient and confident in conflict resolution situations
- Professional presentation and conduct
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workloads
- Commitment to safety, compliance and community service
