HOBAN Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Outdoor Maintenance & Civil Labourers for a range of ongoing opportunities with local government clients across Sydney.

With positions available in Panania, Roselands, Blacktown, Bankstown, Rydalmere, Riverstone and Rooty Hill, these roles offer the opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to the local community, and gain experience across parks maintenance, bush regeneration, roadworks and civil construction activities. • Hourly rates ranging from $36.29 to $39.38 per hour plus super

Typical Duties May Include:

• Parks, gardens and open space maintenance
• Mowing, brush cutting, edging and landscaping tasks
• Bush regeneration, revegetation and weed management
• Road maintenance, asphalt repairs and civil labouring
• Operating hand tools, power tools and small plant equipment
• Litter collection and public area maintenance
• Traffic management support and site preparation
• General labouring and manual handling duties
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times

About You:

• Previous experience in labouring, parks maintenance, landscaping, bush regeneration, civil construction, road maintenance or a similar outdoor environment
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual outdoor work
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude

Essential Requirements:

• Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
• Reliable vehicle and ability to travel to various depot locations
• White Card (for applicable civil and roadwork positions)
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks, including medical and drug & alcohol screening where required

Desirable Tickets & Qualifications:

• Bush Regeneration, Conservation or Land Management qualifications
• Traffic Control tickets
• MR or HR Licence
• Chemical Accreditation (ChemCert)
• First Aid Certificate
• Chainsaw qualifications
• Horticulture, Landscaping or Greenkeeping qualifications
