Inspector - Japanese speaking preferred

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our client's friendly and supportive team. This is an entry-level role with full training provided - no prior inspection experience is required.
About the Role:
You will assist with inspections covering quality, quantity, stowage, packaging, container checks, sampling, and other operational inspections. You will play a key role in supporting inspection services and ensuring that all physical inspection duties are completed to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections according to client specifications
Assist in preparing reports and certificates under the guidance of the Inspection Coordinator
Review work submitted by subcontractors to ensure compliance
Liaise with clients and stakeholders involved in inspections
Maintain workplace health and safety standards
Comply with ISO 9001 procedures
Support various inspections including quality, quantity, stowage, packaging, sampling, and engineering checks
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Requirements:
No previous experience needed - full training provided
Japanese language skills (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Well-organized, self-motivated, and proactive
Good computer skills
Australian driver's licence (own vehicle preferred)
Ability to work in Melbourne Inner City North West, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Occasional weekend or public holiday work (with applicable rates)
