Inspector - Japanese speaking preferred

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our client's friendly and supportive team. This is an entry-level role with full training provided - no prior inspection experience is required.

About the Role:
You will assist with inspections covering quality, quantity, stowage, packaging, container checks, sampling, and other operational inspections. You will play a key role in supporting inspection services and ensuring that all physical inspection duties are completed to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections according to client specifications

• Assist in preparing reports and certificates under the guidance of the Inspection Coordinator

• Review work submitted by subcontractors to ensure compliance

• Liaise with clients and stakeholders involved in inspections

• Maintain workplace health and safety standards

• Comply with ISO 9001 procedures

• Support various inspections including quality, quantity, stowage, packaging, sampling, and engineering checks

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

Requirements:

• No previous experience needed - full training provided

• Japanese language skills (preferred)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Well-organized, self-motivated, and proactive

• Good computer skills

• Australian driver's licence (own vehicle preferred)

• Ability to work in Melbourne Inner City North West, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

• Occasional weekend or public holiday work (with applicable rates)
