Participant Support Officer - APS3 equivalent
We are seeking experienced Participant Support Officers to join a government service delivery team in South East Queensland. These full time contract roles are based in Caboolture and are focused on providing high quality support to participants, families and stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong background in customer or participant service who enjoy working in structured, policy driven environments and supporting diverse community members.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with participants and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
- Provide timely and accurate support to participants navigating service processes
- Manage a range of administrative and case support tasks concurrently
- Identify issues and escalate or resolve matters in line with established procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with policies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
Essential experience and capabilities
- Strong communication skills with a participant focused approach
- Experience working in customer, client or community service roles
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem solving skills within a regulated or structured environment
- Sound administrative and documentation skills
- Understanding of disability services or support environments
- Flexibility and resilience in response to changing needs
- Positive and respectful approach to working with people with disabilities
Role details
- Full time hours, Monday to Friday
- Standard business hours 8.30am to 4.30pm
- Extension options are subject to business requirements
