About the Role
As Production Manager, you'll take full responsibility for leading the manufacturing operation, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
You'll oversee daily production performance while driving continuous improvement across processes, people, and equipment. Working closely with planning, sales, maintenance, and warehouse teams, you'll ensure forecast demand is met and operations run seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day production operations to achieve output, quality, and efficiency targets
- Ensure all production equipment is operational and running to planned utilisation levels
- Drive line performance, minimising downtime and resolving issues in real time
- Coordinate with planning, sales, and warehouse teams to meet customer demand
- Monitor and report on production performance, downtime, and efficiencies
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage operational spend within budget
- Oversee preventative maintenance schedules and equipment reliability
Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams to drive performance and engagement
- Create a strong communication culture across shifts and teams
- Hold team members accountable to safety, quality, and operational standards
- Support training, development, and performance management processes
- Monitor team performance, attendance, and overall capability
About You
You're an experienced manufacturing leader who thrives in fast-paced production environments.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role
- Prviously experience with Blow Moulders
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Solid knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and safety standards
- The ability to lead from the floor and build high-performing teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
