Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery within the steel production process
- Maintain quality and safety standards at all times
- Conduct regular machine checks and perform basic maintenance
- Follow production schedules and meet output targets
- Keep work areas clean, organised and safety compliant
- Assist with administrative tasks during quieter periods (data entry, basic documentation, filing, scheduling support, etc.)
- Support warehouse and production teams as required

Requirements
- Previous machine operation or production experience (steel industry desirable but not essential)
- Forklift and warehouse experience highly regarded
- Willingness to learn and develop hands‑on manufacturing skills
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team and meet production targets
- Physically fit and capable of manual tasks
- Comfortable performing admin duties when required (basic computer skills, paperwork accuracy, etc.)
- Flexibility to support overtime when needed
