Mandarin-Speaking Warehouse Manager

Our client is a growing company in the food logistics sector, seeking a Mandarin-speaking Warehouse Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic warehouse environment, supporting both operational and administrative logistics tasks.
The Role:
As the Logistics Assistant Manager, you will support the Logistics Manager in overseeing warehouse operations, managing a team of permanent and temporary staff, and ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing warehouse/logistics operations and delivery processes.
- Supervise and support a team of permanent and temporary staff.
- Coordinate inventory management and stock control.
- Oversee receiving, unloading, and storing of products.
- Ensure quality control procedures are followed.
- Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics.
- Support the Logistics Manager in planning and scheduling deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety procedures.
- Train and mentor team members on operational procedures.
- Liaise with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Fluent Mandarin-speaking.
- Full working rights in Australia (PR, Australian Citizen, or Partner Visa).
- Reliable transportation to the office (own car required).
- Previous experience managing warehouse teams, including permanent and temporary staff.
- Strong experience in logistics/warehouse operations, preferably in food import / FMCG / similar industry.
- Knowledge of stock control and inventory systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Forklift license preferred.
- High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.
Salary: $80k-85k + super
