Our client is the world's largest industrial auctioneer and a global leader in asset management and equipment sales. We're seeking a hands‑on Assistant Yard Manager to support operations at our Muchea auction yard. No auction experience required - full training provided.

The role
Working closely with the Yard Manager, you'll help manage daily yard operations, safety, staff supervision and equipment presentation to ensure smooth and safe auction operations.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and support yard staff and casuals
- Prioritise workloads and coordinate daily operations
- Ensure equipment is sale‑ready and the yard is well maintained
- Maintain compliance with health, safety & environmental standards
- Deliver excellent customer service and collaborate with other sites
- Assist with auction and yard activities as required
About you
- Previous experience leading or supervising teams
- Knowledge of heavy, industrial or agricultural equipment, trucks or trailers
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Comfortable using MS Office and digital tools
- Safety‑focused, detail‑oriented and hands‑on
- Willing to work outdoors, overtime/weekends and travel inter and intra State if required
- Valid, clean driver's licence
