  We are seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to lead daily transport operations, manage drivers, and ensure safe, compliant, and on-time delivery performance across metro and regional routes.

  This is a hands-on leadership role focused on transport efficiency, fleet coordination, and driver performance - ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.

  What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach and support a team of drivers and transport staff

  • Manage daily transport schedules, dispatch, and route allocations

  • Oversee fleet utilisation, maintenance coordination, and vehicle compliance

  • Monitor delivery performance, DIFOT, fatigue management, and CoR compliance

  • Investigate and resolve delivery issues, incidents, and customer concerns

  • Drive safety culture across the transport function

  • Analyse transport KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives

  • Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure seamless dispatch

  • Prepare reports and provide performance insights to management

  About You

  • Proven experience as a Transport Supervisor, Fleet Supervisor, or Transport Coordinator

  • Strong leadership experience managing drivers in a fast-paced environment

  • Solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVR regulations, and fatigue management

  • Knowledge of Melbourne metro and regional freight routes

  • Confident managing KPIs, service levels, and operational performance

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

  • MR/HR licence advantageous

  • Forklift licence desirable but not essential

  • Willing to obtain and maintain Yellow Badge security clearance
