Japanese Speaking Technical Product Specialist

Our client, a leading tech company, is seeking a Japanese-speaking Technical Product Specialist to join their Southeast Melbourne office. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, international collaboration, and live events, bridging local operations using Japanese and English languague skills.

Resposibilities

• Work closely with the Service Manager and Technical Services team, gaining exposure to cutting-edge hardware and software.

• Participate in live events, expos, and industry showcases, setting up, troubleshooting, and managing technical equipment hands-on.

• Develop your technical expertise while working with your colleagues and helping shape team processes.

• Support the Service Manager with technical translation, documentation, and workflow coordination between Japanese and English.

• Serve as a point of contact between Australia and Japan, ensuring smooth technical operations and collaboration on hardware and software updates.

• Assist with hardware diagnostics, repairs, and equipment setup for events and expos.

• Collaborate with team members and share your technical and operational expertise to drive excellence across the team.

Requiremnsts

• Fluent in Japanese and English (essential)

• Physically fit and able to lift/handle items up

• Comfortable with cabling, power setups, and event logistics.

• Hands-on experience with computers, tech equipment setup, and troubleshooting is a bonus.

• High attention to detail, confidentiality, and teamwork.

• Driver's license (automatic) preferred.

• Willingness to business travel interstate and possibly internationally.
