About the role
The Occupational Therapist will provide assessment, intervention and capacity-building supports to people with disability across the lifespan. The role involves identifying participant strengths and support needs, developing therapy plans aligned with NDIS goals, and working collaboratively with families, carers and other professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes.
This is a fulfilling role where you'll have the autonomy to structure your day and be provided with a broad and varied caseload. You'll work with children and adults across a range of physical, neurological, developmental and psychosocial presentations, delivering therapy in homes, schools, community settings and our clinic.
What you'll do
- Manage a caseload of participants, including assessment, intervention and planning.
- Deliver supports in homes, schools, and community settings
- Develop, implement, monitor and review therapy supports aligned with participant goals.
- Conduct assessments and prepare high-quality reports and recommendations to support participant outcomes and NDIS funding decisions.
- Deliver services in accordance with evidence-based practice and organisational standards.
- Collaborate with participants, families, carers and stakeholders.
- Apply the NDIS Code of Conduct in all work practices.
- Manage your own schedule with flexibility and autonomy
What you'll bring
- Full AHPRA registration (Limited Registration may be considered)
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- WWCC, Police Check, NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS experience
