A reputable company based in Sydney CBD is seeking a Japanese‑speaking Accounts & Administration Officer to join their friendly team.
This role offers a balanced split between accounting and administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working closely with both local management and head office.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance Duties
- Daily bookkeeping
- Managing invoicing and arranging payments
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Expense management and processing
- Preparation of various reports
- Liaising with external accounting firms for additional accounting tasks
- Compiling and presenting financial reports to Head Office in Tokyo
Administration & Office Support
- Supporting the Manager with general administrative tasks
- Coordinating office maintenance, repairs, and daily office services
- Managing office supplies, vendor communication, and invoice processing
- Assisting with office facilities and operational needs
- Supporting simple reporting tasks requested by Head Office
- Manage logistics
- Maintaining company records, filings, and compliance documentation
- Processing expenses for senior staff
Requirements
- Business‑level Japanese language skills or above
- A few years of experience in bookkeeping and office administration
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Valid long‑term Australian work rights such as Permanent Resident. Partner Visa, Australian Citizen
- Please note Working Holiday Visa and Student Visa holders cannot be considered (permanent position)
