EL1 Assistant Director - Workplace Integrity

HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced EL1 Assistant Director - Workplace Integrity in SYDNEY, NSW to support the team leadership of their work area in the planning and coordination of the team. The role will demonstrate the ability to deliver human resources services within a public service context. It provides critical operational and strategic advice to stakeholders through the interpretation and application of employment legislation, government policies, employee relations best practice and the NDIA's Enterprise Agreement and related policies.
About the Role
- Researching, interpreting and applying an extensive knowledge of the APS HR legislation and policies and NDIA's Enterprise Agreement and related HR policies to provide advice, support and management relating to complex people matters.
- Undertaking risk evaluation processes to make decisions, with limited direction, on the appropriate course of action to address very complex people matters in often challenging environments with multiple impacts.
- Undertaking Code of Conduct investigations and case management in accordance with the Public Service Act 1999.
- Conducting primary Reviews of Action and case managing secondary Reviews of Action under Section 33 of the Public Service Act 1999.
- Undertaking case management of External Jurisdiction matters in collaboration with the Legal Services Branch.
- Reviewing, analysing and managing NDIA policies owned by the team and actively contributing to other People & Culture policy reviews.
- Assessing, reporting and analysing case metrics to provide P&C Executive with meaningful, accurate and timely data in order to anticipate issues, inform decisions and steer the direction of people management in the NDIA.
