Hours: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day)
Roster between 7:00am - 6:00pm (Monday to Friday, operationally driven)
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Storeperson to join the Government Records Repository (GRR) Inventory Team in Kingswood. This role is responsible for the secure handling, retrieval, staging, dispatch, and movement of sensitive government records.
You will play a key part in maintaining strict chain-of-custody controls, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting safe and efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve and process records using system-generated pick lists
- Use RF scanners and inventory systems for accurate transaction processing
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Operate material handling equipment (where licensed)
- Maintain accurate box sequencing, labelling, and documentation
- Support stocktakes, audits, and inventory control activities
- Follow GRR security protocols and operational SOPs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
About You
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or pick/pack environments
- Confident using RF scanners or warehouse inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Physically fit (able to lift up to 16kg and walk up to 10km daily)
- Able to meet dispatch deadlines in a structured environment
- Comfortable working independently and within a team
- Understanding of WHS practices in warehouse settings
- Valid Class C driver's licence
Security & Compliance Requirements
- Police Check (supplier conducted)
- Working With Children Check (supplier conducted)
- Minimum 2 professional referees
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive government records
- Commitment to GRR security and compliance procedures
Highly Regarded (Not Essential)
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Current LO Order Picker Licence
- MR Heavy Vehicle Licence (manual)
- Experience operating order picker/stock picker equipment in high-bay storage
- Previous experience in secure records management environments
- High-volume pick/dispatch experience
