Assembly Technician
Location: Regional SA

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician for an ongoing fulltime casual role, rate is negotiable. This is a hands-on position working with seeding and tillage equipment, ideal for mechanically minded candidates with assembly experience.
About the Role
You will be responsible for assembling, fitting, testing, and inspecting machinery to ensure products meet quality and safety standards. Working within a production environment, you'll interpret engineering drawings and assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and related components.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble machinery in line with engineering drawings and production schedules
- Install and fit mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
- Perform alignment, fastening, and adjustments to specified tolerances
- Conduct quality checks and identify defects or non-conformances
- Maintain accurate documentation and production records
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
About You
- Trade qualification (Mechanical, Automotive, Diesel, Fitting & Turning, or similar)
- Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or heavy equipment environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems (advantageous)
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Reliable, safety-focused, and a strong team player
Desirable
- Forklift licence
