HOBAN Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading organisation within the disability sector to recruit multiple Participant Support Officers located in either Wendouree, Traralgon, Geelong VIC or Launceston TAS. This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals navigating the disability services sector, ensuring they receive high-quality service and access to the supports they need.
About the Role
As a Participant Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for participants, providing guidance, support and administrative assistance throughout their journey.
- Deliver high-quality, empathetic support to participants, families and stakeholders
- Assist participants to navigate the disabilty framework and access appropriate services
- Manage case-related tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Maintain detailed and compliant records in line with policies and procedures
- Resolve participant enquiries and identify practical solutions to complex issues
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external service providers
- Support a positive and inclusive participant experience at every touchpoint
- Adapt to changing participant needs and organisational priorities

- Strong communication skills-clear, empathetic and professional
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to manage competing priorities and administrative responsibilities
- Problem-solving skills with a practical and solution-focused mindset
- Comfortable building rapport with a diverse range of people
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance
- Knowledge or understanding of the disability sector (highly regarded)
- Flexible, adaptable and able to respond to changing circumstances
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
- Respectful and inclusive approach to working with people with disabilities
