About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Change Lead to support the successful planning, coordination and delivery of organisational and project-related change initiatives across the Technology division. Working within the Excellence, Performance and Change team, the Change Lead will play a key role in ensuring changes are understood, effectively adopted, and embedded to enable positive business outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who brings strong change management experience and can confidently partner with leaders, project teams and impacted stakeholders to guide them through change with clarity and structure.
Key Responsibilities
The Change Lead will be responsible for:
Change delivery and planning
- Developing, coordinating and implementing change management plans across assigned projects.
- Identifying organisational, customer and employee impacts and risks.
- Ensuring change activities align with project timelines and strategic priorities.
- Driving benefit realisation and monitoring adoption outcomes.
Stakeholder engagement and coaching
- Supporting leaders and initiative owners to understand and communicate upcoming changes.
- Coaching teams to embed new ways of working and measure success.
- Developing or refining business processes required to support change initiatives.
Operational management of change programs
- Managing the day‑to‑day delivery of change plans.
- Collaborating with project and business teams to ensure alignment between technology, process and people impacts.
- Developing training and workforce readiness plans in partnership with internal People & Safety teams.
- Monitoring and reporting on change progress, risks and issues.
Collaboration and communication
- Acting as the key contact point for impacted teams.
- Supporting the adoption of consistent change management frameworks across the business.
- Developing communication and engagement plans to support program and project delivery.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Change Lead or Change Management role.
- Relevant change management qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with methodologies such as PROSCI, Lean, Human-Centred Design and Agile.
- Strong understanding of people impacts during change and the project lifecycle.
- Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in benefits realisation and embedding sustainable change.
Highly regarded (but not essential)
- Experience within utilities, infrastructure or government environments.
