ASO6 Level CRM Project Manager

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for customer experience, systems improvement, and meaningful stakeholder engagement? We're seeking an experienced ASO6 Level Business Analyst / Project Manager to support a major customer‑journey and CRM project within a well‑established South Australian Government department.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in shaping how customers, members, donors, and stakeholders engage with a respected public-facing organisation.
About the Role
You will work closely with internal teams to analyse, understand, and enhance the complete customer journey, while contributing to the development of business specifications for a future Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Key Responsibilities
Consult with staff to:
Map and document the current customer experience across all touchpoints - including casual visitors, members, donors, and community supporters.
Develop and document an improved future-state customer journey that enables the organisation to:
- Increase membership numbers
- Manage and maintain memberships
- Understand drivers of engagement and customer behaviour
- Provide tailored and timely communications
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Build long-term relationships with prospects and existing customers
- Track donations and contributions
Identify potential system integrations that support these goals and help define the scope for an upcoming CRM project.
Develop business specifications that support:
- Procurement of a new CRM
- System configuration activities
- Future user acceptance testing
About You
You are someone who excels at facilitating conversations, simplifying complexity, and documenting clear insights. You understand customer experience principles, system workflows, and how to align process improvements with organisational goals.
You will bring:
- Solid experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager
- Demonstrated skill in customer journey mapping
- Strong analytical capabilities and documentation skills
- Experience working with or developing CRM processes (highly desirable)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Confidence working independently in a part‑time (22.5 hours pw) capacity
