Junior Design Manager

Location: Adelaide CBD

Hourly Rate: $49.38 ph include casual loading

We are seeking a motivated Junior Design Manager to support our senior Design Managers across a range of complex infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to multi-disciplinary engineering teams while developing hands-on project leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Design Managers in coordinating multi-disciplinary technical teams

• Assist in ensuring safety, quality, and sustainability requirements are embedded in all design deliverables

• Contribute to the preparation, review, and delivery of engineering designs and documentation

• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage updates, and ensure alignment across design disciplines

• Help monitor cost, risk, and schedule impacts during design development

• Assist with continuous improvement of design processes, templates, and engineering tools

Skills & Experience

• Engineering qualification (B.Eng) in a relevant discipline - essential

• Early-career engineering experience or relevant internships highly regarded

• Understanding of engineering design principles, design reviews, and technical standards

• Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills

• A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and grow in a structured, supportive environment
