A Federal Government agency is seeking motivated and detail-oriented APS5 Internal Review Officers to join a team dedicated to ensuring fair, transparent, and evidence-based decision-making for individuals accessing essential national support programs.
As an Internal Review Officer, you will manage a caseload of review requests, applying your analytical and communication skills to deliver high-quality, lawful, and timely outcomes under relevant legislative frameworks.
About the Role
You will:
- Conduct internal reviews of decisions relating to program access and funding. 
- Gather and analyse information from applicants, participants, and their representatives. 
- Prepare clear, evidence-based recommendations in line with legislation, rules, and operational guidelines. 
- Communicate review outcomes with professionalism, clarity, and empathy. 
- Monitor and manage caseloads to meet timeframes. 
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance fairness, consistency, and service quality.

- Cultural competency and the ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
