Facilities Coordinator
📍 Rowville, VIC | ⏰ Mon - Fri + OT | 7am - 3.30pm
This role is responsible for the coordination and upkeep of our Rowville facility, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant, and fully operational. You'll take ownership of facility maintenance, site organisation, and equipment readiness, while also supporting warehouse and logistics activities as required.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate and carry out general facility maintenance activities
- Ensure warehouse, yard, and storage areas are clean, safe, and well maintained
- Arrange and manage external contractors for repairs and site works
- Monitor and maintain site infrastructure (lighting, shelving, storage systems, access areas)
- Identify and proactively address facility risks and maintenance issues
- Conduct routine inspection of fire extinguishers and safety equipment
- Support compliance with workplace health and safety standards
- Maintain control of tools, plant, ladders, and equipment
- Coordinate servicing, testing & tagging, and repairs
- Track and manage equipment across technicians and projects
- Support warehouse operations including goods receipting, dispatch, and stock organisation
- Assist with coordinating freight and deliveries when required
- Operate forklifts safely for loading, unloading, and material handling
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across all operational areas
About You
- Experience in facilities coordination, maintenance, or trade-support environments
- Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving ability
- Strong understanding of workplace health & safety requirements
- Ability to coordinate contractors and manage site-related tasks
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Basic mechanical aptitude and confidence working with tools/equipment
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the site
- Experience in warehouse or logistics environments (preferred)
- Experience in HVAC, construction, or similar industries (advantageous)
Qualifications
Essential:
- Current Driver's Licence
- Valid Forklift Licence (LF) - required
- 2+ years' experience in a similar facilities, maintenance, or operational role
Desirable:
- First Aid Certification
- Fire equipment testing (CPPFES2020)
- Trade background or exposure to technical environments
