Are you a detail-oriented technician with a passion for quality assurance and technical analysis? Join Cummins as a Quality Assurance Technician III and play a key role in managing warranty part returns across the South Pacific. You'll work onsite at our Scoresby facility, supporting a global team while independently owning the local quality process.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate and manage the return of warranty parts from service channels
  
• Receive, inspect, and test returned components and materials for defects
  
• Perform technical testing and analysis of parts for compliance
  
• Document results and prepare comprehensive technical reports
  
• Arrange shipment of parts to suppliers for further investigation
  
• Maintain detailed records and contribute to continuous improvement
  
• Operate as the sole local quality specialist with global team support
  

About You:

✅ Experienced: At least 5 years in a technical or QA role (automotive background ideal)
✅ Independent: Self-starter who thrives in an autonomous setting
✅ Analytical: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
✅ Tech-Savvy: Confident using Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based systems
✅ Communicator: Able to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

Highly Regarded:

• Previous experience in automotive diagnostics, service, or maintenance
  
• Technical certifications (preferred but not essential)
  
• Experience preparing technical presentations and reports
