About the Role
- Bearing inspection - Identify and classify defects in line with remanufacturing specifications
- Remanufacturing - Restore industrial bearings to like-new condition with precision and consistency
- Measurement & documentation - Accurately measure, record, and ensure compliance with specifications
- Quality & cleanliness - Maintain strict cleanliness standards to prevent contamination and ensure reliability
- Technical services - Assist with mechanical and engineering services including installations, laser alignment, and lubrication sampling
- Maintenance & reporting - Maintain equipment and complete detailed service reports and documentation
- Client interaction - Provide high-quality service and support to customers where required
- Safety compliance - Follow all workshop and site safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical trade experience - Experience maintaining large industrial machinery
- Industry background - Exposure to mechanical maintenance, engineering projects, or refurbishment services
- Driver's licence - Current and valid licence required
- Technical skills - Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Communication - Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Customer focus - Proactive and professional approach to client service
- Safety mindset - Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
- Attention to detail - Ability to work accurately in a quality-driven environment
- Dogman qualification - Advantageous but not essential
- Forklift Licence - Advantageous but not essential
