Expression of Interest: Track Setup Crews for the 2026 Santos Tour Down Under


We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Labour and Roustabout teams for the 2026 Santos Tour Down Under.

Our teams are responsible for the set up and dismantling of crowd control barriers at the start and finish locations of the race stages and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of this world-famous cycling event.

Safety is key in these roles as you will be working on busy tracks with other contractors, unloading and loading barriers from open sided trucks.

Specific Requirements:

• Availability to work early morning, late evening and weekend shifts between Saturday 17th and Sunday January 25th January 2026 inclusive.**
• Setup of barriers at the start locations and pack down after the race commences.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Safety awareness.
• Previous experience in event setup or similar labour-intensive roles is an advantage but not essential.
• Access to own transport to travel to stage locations outside the CBD.

**Priority will be given to those with the most flexibility, but you are still encouraged to apply, even if your availability is limited.


START CREWS

Shifts are split (set up/take down) and total 6 hours per day, commencing at 0600 (earlier start on select days*)

Locations:

• 18/01/2026: Magill
• 19/01/26: Norwood
• 22/01/26: Norwood
• 23/01/2026: Henley Beach*
• 24/01/2026: Brighton

FINISH CREWS

Shifts are split (set up/take down) and total 7 hours per day, commencing at 0600 (earlier starts/later finishes on select days*)

Locations:

• 18/01/26: Paracombe
• 19/01/26: Campbelltown
• 22/01/26: Uraidla
• 23/01/26: Nairne*
• 24/01/26: Willunga Hill

CIRCUIT CREW

Shifts are split (set up/take down) and total 7 hours+ per day commencing at 0600 (earlier starts/later finishes on select days*)

Locations:

• 17/01/26: Willunga
• 20/01/26: Adelaide CBD*
• 21/01/26: Tanunda*
• 25/01/26: Stirling
