Operations Support - Dispatch & Customer Coordination

We are seeking an experienced Dispatch/Operations Coordinator to support a busy, fast‑moving operation within the appliances/FMCG sector.
This is a casual onsite role requiring a proactive, detail‑focused individual who can manage competing priorities, work to deadlines, and communicate confidently across all levels of the business.
Location: Eastern Creek
Shift time: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (flexibility required based on operational needs)
Pay rate: $35.80 per hour + super
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatch activities, ensuring orders are scheduled and delivered in line with customer requirements
- Manage delivery scheduling, runs, and site coordination
- Work to strict KPIs and deadlines within a sales‑driven, performance‑focused environment
- Support outcomes that directly impact sales and customer delivery performance
- Communicate with stakeholders, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Identify and resolve issues, escalating where required
- Apply strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills to daily challenges
- Prepare and analyse KPI and performance reports
- Manage documentation including pick lists, manifests, and reporting
- Monitor and action stock discrepancies and data
- Support a multi‑site environment, including travel as required
- Maintain high levels of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
- Confidently use systems, reports, and business tools in a fast‑paced environment
Requirements
- Experience in the appliances or FMCG industry
- Background in dispatch, logistics, or operational coordination
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g. JD Edwards / Oracle or similar)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication skills across all levels
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Available to work fully onsite (no work from home)
- Willing to travel between sites as required
- Driver's licence and own vehicle
- Strong reporting capability and confidence working with KPI data
- High attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively
