Are you looking for some extra hours while being part of a major rail provider? We're currently seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Customer Service Ambassador for a rail provider across western corridor of Melbourne: North Melbourne, Footscray, Newport, Laverton, and Sunshine.
If you enjoy working outdoors, interacting with the public, standing for a minimum duration of 3hrs and max upto 8hrs, and want a flexible role with excellent hourly rates, this opportunity is for you!

Key Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and efficient support to commuters with enquiries and directions.
- Data collection: Collecting the live data using Microsoft or google forms.
- Outdoor Presence: Maintain an approachable and helpful presence in an outdoor station environment.
- Wayfinding Support: Guide customers through the station precincts to ensure a smooth transit experience.
- Collateral Distribution: Hand out brochures, flyers, and promotional material to inform and assist customers.
- On-Your-Feet Service: Be prepared to stand for extended periods while maintaining excellent customer service.
About You
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Able to provide clear police check (within 6-12 months old)
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors and standing for prolonged periods.
- A naturally friendly and proactive approach to customer interactions.
- Prior experience in customer service (preferred, not essential).
- Must be available between 07 July to 12 July 2026
- Must have legal work rights in Australia.
What's On Offer
- Casual hourly rates from $30.35 per hour - $54.63 per hour (including penalty rates).

Schedule:
- Min engagement 3 hours
- 8-hour and 10-hour shifts (between 0000 to 2400)
- Penalty rates apply where relevant
- Shift start times can be from 4:00 AM onwards.
