HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (AO7/1) to support a major government program focused on delivering high‑impact public housing projects in BRISBANE City. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can turn strategic design objectives into real‑world construction outcomes while managing complex stakeholder environments.
About the Role
As the Senior Project Manager, you will:
- Lead public housing projects across procurement, design, construction and implementation phases.
- Translate design and strategic objectives into tangible project deliverables.
- Manage project programs, budgets and ensure all works remain within scope.
- Coordinate and influence diverse stakeholder groups to achieve project outcomes.
- Ensure alignment with departmental objectives and the broader organisational vision.

About You
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in the construction industry (mandatory).
- Queensland Class C Open Driver's Licence (mandatory).
- Tertiary qualifications in project management, construction, engineering, architecture or related fields (highly desirable; diploma acceptable).
- Strong capability using MS Project, Word and Excel.
- Proven experience managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and risk‑mitigation skills.
- The ability to operate autonomously while delivering high‑quality outcomes.
