Senior Project Manager - Construction

HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (AO7/1) to support a major government program focused on delivering high‑impact public housing projects in BRISBANE City. About the Role
As the Senior Project Manager, you will:

• Lead public housing projects across procurement, design, construction and implementation phases.
• Translate design and strategic objectives into tangible project deliverables.
• Manage project programs, budgets and ensure all works remain within scope.
• Coordinate and influence diverse stakeholder groups to achieve project outcomes.
• Ensure alignment with departmental objectives and the broader organisational vision.

About You
You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in the construction industry (mandatory).
• Queensland Class C Open Driver's Licence (mandatory).
• Tertiary qualifications in project management, construction, engineering, architecture or related fields (highly desirable; diploma acceptable).
• Strong capability using MS Project, Word and Excel.
• Proven experience managing complex projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and risk‑mitigation skills.
• The ability to operate autonomously while delivering high‑quality outcomes.
