HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a Casual Quality Inspector to support grain inspection activities at port sites in Western Australia. This is a flexible, low-hour role ideal for someone looking for occasional, hands-on work. You will be employed by HOBAN and working for our client.
About the Role
- Conduct wheat quality inspections at port sites (no office duties)
- Sampling, testing, and recording results
- Work in pairs (2 inspectors per shift)
- Shifts are typically around 7 hours (may vary)
- Work is scheduled based on shipping/operational needs
Location
- Primarily Kwinana (Perth area)
- Occasional travel to Geraldton or Albany may be required
Hours & Flexibility
- Approx. 10-15 hours per month (may increase depending on the season)
- Shift-based and irregular hours depending on operations
- Weekend and public holiday work may be required
Requirements
- High attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently in a site-based environment
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle required
- Experience in agriculture or inspection (preferred but not essential)

- Mileage reimbursed for Geraldton/Albany travel
