Casual Quality Inspector - Wheat

HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a Casual Quality Inspector to support grain inspection activities at port sites in Western Australia. This is a flexible, low-hour role ideal for someone looking for occasional, hands-on work. You will be employed by HOBAN and working for our client.

About the Role

• Conduct wheat quality inspections at port sites (no office duties)
• Sampling, testing, and recording results
• Work in pairs (2 inspectors per shift)
• Shifts are typically around 7 hours (may vary)
• Work is scheduled based on shipping/operational needs

Location

• Primarily Kwinana (Perth area)
• Occasional travel to Geraldton or Albany may be required

Hours & Flexibility

• Approx. 10-15 hours per month (may increase depending on the season)
• Shift-based and irregular hours depending on operations
• Weekend and public holiday work may be required

Requirements

• High attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work independently in a site-based environment
• Valid driver's licence and own vehicle required
• Experience in agriculture or inspection (preferred but not essential)

Additional Info

• Mileage reimbursed for Geraldton/Albany travel
